Baked Sweet Potato with Tahini Sauce

Sweet potatoes are most often cooked in the oven or served as French fries. It is a highly versatile vegetable that is often used in many cuisines around the world. Our recipe for today is Baked Sweet Potatoes with Tahini Sauce. This is a dish that delights with its rich aroma and deep taste.

We need:

✔ 700 g of sweet potato

✔ 2 tbsp Italian herbs

✔ 3 tbsp olive oil

✔ 3 tbsp maple syrup

✔ 1 tsp sesame

✔ 3 tbsp tahini paste

✔ 1 lemon

✔ 3 cloves of garlic

✔ 1/2 tsp salt

✔ cilantro, parsley

Step 1

Combine olive oil, spices to taste, sesame seeds, and maple syrup.

Wash the sweet potatoes, peel cut them into thick slices.

Step 2

Grease the sweet potato in the resulting mass and put it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and put in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Step 3

Chop the parsley and cilantro, squeeze the lemon juice, peel the garlic and grind it on a board with half a teaspoon of salt.

Step 4

Prepare the tahini sauce by mixing sesame paste, half a glass of water, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs in a bowl.

Step 5

Serve baked sweet potatoes with cooked sauce.
